Marketing & Launch of Your New Biz

During this entire adventurous journey you have learned so much about yourself, your strengths, weaknesses, addressed some fears and have seen some great victories. You have experienced the entire spectrum of emotions and now you are about to experience a few more. How to effectively market and then actually launch this amazing new business.

One of the first things to think about is branding. You are a representation of your business and everything you put out should reflect that. There is a lot to think about here: website, logo, cards, brochures, press release, and social media presence just to name a few things to consider. If you can afford to hire someone that is great at branding and marketing, I would. I couldn't so I didn't, I had to do all of my own research, design and writing. I made mistakes, took too much time in some areas and not enough time in others. I have learned a lot and have been able to help others get set up because of all my trial and errors. Needless to say marketing before your launch is so important.

As much as most of the world is on social media I hope you can see the importance to have you business represented on there as well. If you have never read a book or heard a presentation from Gary Vaynerchuck I would highly recommend it. He is in my opinion one of the best at social media marketing, he now has his own marketing firm and is doing amazing things. A few of his books that I would recommend are; "Crush it", "Crushing it" and "Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook". I guarantee you will learn something and gain some great ideas that will help you. If you can listen to his podcast I would go there as well, be a sponge, learn all you can from all the successful players out there until you can develop your own routine for success. Rest assured you will develop you own routine, so imitate what works for you and file the other stuff in the brain bank.

Ready...Set...Launch...Oh crap, things just got real. Yes, it is scary and exciting all at the same time. Did you plan enough? Did you network enough? Is everything set up the way you want it? Are you meeting the needs of your ideal client or customer? There really is a lot to think about and some level of stress is also there. You are not alone in all of the emotions that are crushing you right now. It is all of those emotions that will help you make sure that things are perfect. You know your audience, what are you offering them that will draw them to you? Now the real work begins! In the most simplest of terms your launch is just telling people you are open for business but if done right not only will the masses be informed but they will be curious and want to talk more potentially bringing in more clientele, and that is the ultimate goal, right?

As we wrap up this series, I just want to share with you how proud I am that you are taking on this adventure. Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart or weak willed, it will pull you directions emotionally you didn't know you could go, it will test you, it will try your patience, it will isolate you, BUT, it is one of the most fulfilling adventures you can take in life. Enjoy and be present in every aspect of this growth.

Going from idea to actual launch can be confusing and overwhelming, I am here to answer your questions, encourage you and give you all the help I can in order to help you become the success you want to be.
